About El Creston MDWCA

The official name is El Creston Mutual Domestic Water Consumers Association. It is a non-profit, government regulated, cooperative utility, managed by an elected board accountable to members. Its only functions are water and wastewater. It was formed initially in 2004 and reorganized in 2009 to deal with the loss of over a dozen household wells in the area.

As we learned in the summer of 2009, water in the area of Romeroville, Ojitos Frios Ranches, Sheridan and points north can suddenly be gone from wells. This changes normal household life from routine to panic in an instant.

Our service area includes Sheridan, Romeroville, Blue Ridge La Manga, Ojitos Frios Ranches and north to NM Highway 283.
